Watcher Ponies

- About Watcher Ponies -

Watcher ponies age much slower then your average pony and are mutes (they can't speak), but they use telepathy to communicate with each other. All Watcher Ponies are pegasus. They are nocturnal ponies thus the dark coats and and glowing eyes. Only pure breed Watchers have glowing eyes. It is common for Watchers to have light colored manes and tails.

Watchers live in a small close knit tribe deep within an unnamed forest. They rise with the moon and have a tendency to peer in on average ponies and other creatures. The tribes elders are very cautious of any outsiders as the legend of how this species came about is not a nice one.

It is said that once there was a battle that lasted many lifetimes and during that battle a few warriors came across a small cottage. In that cottage live a simple family of four who loved and cherished each other. As the warriors busted in the mother hid her two foals under a bed. The foals watched as hooves stomped and screams echoed. Suddenly everything went quiet the foals ran out. But one was caught by the mane and dragged back into the cottage. Scared and alone the last foal made its way into a dark forest and never spoke a word again.
